Yesterday, at around 2200hrs, the Police were informed that assistance was needed in Mdina Road, Żebbuġ.
The Police went immediately on site and there it resulted that a 15-year-old girl who was riding an e-kick scooter, lost control and fell.
The girl was assisted by a medical team and taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Later, she was certified with serious injuries.
Magistrate Dr Renata Farrugia LL.D was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.
Police investigations into this incident are ongoing.
