Yesterday at around 11:00 a.m. (1100hrs), while the Police were on routine patrol in Triq Il-Marsa, Marsa, they noticed a group of individuals who aroused suspicion.
The police stopped these individuals and, during searches carried out on a 31-year-old Somali man residing in Marsa, found 60 sachets containing a substance suspected to be synthetic cannabis. Meanwhile, on another 30-year-old Somali man residing in San Ġwann, they found 7 additional sachets containing the same substance, along with some cash.
Both individuals were arrested, and Police investigations are still ongoing.
