Yesterday, at around 2015hrs, the Police were informed that a traffic accident had just occurred in Triq Ta’ Sannat, Sannat, Gozo.
The Police immediately went to the scene and from preliminary investigations carried out it resulted that a 43-year-old Estonian man, who was riding a quad bike and had a 49-year-old Filipino woman as a passenger, lost control and fell.
An ambulance was called to the scene and took the persons to the Gozo General Hospital for the necessary treatment, where they were certified as grievous injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
