Two arrested in Tal-Pietá in connection with alleged drug trafficking

Early this morning, the Police’s continuous efforts against drug trafficking led to the arrest of two men, after they were allegedly trafficking drugs.

After days of surveillance on establishments in Triq Qrajten, Tal-Pietá, this morning the Police approached an establishment where they noticed the two men on its outside passing some things to each other.

A search on one of the men yielded sachets with substance suspected to be heroin, allegedly ready to be trafficked, while the other man was also remanded in custody in order to help with the ongoing investigation.
