Today, at around 0415hrs, the Police were informed of a traffic accident in Triq Ħaż-Żabbar, Fgura.
The Police immediately went to the scene and from a preliminary investigation it resulted that a 58-year-old man living in Birkirkara was driving an MG MG4 Electric, when he lost control, hit a monument located in the middle of the roundabout and then crashed into the parapet of a residence. Also in the vehicle was a 19-year-old young man and a 50-year-old woman, both from Germany.
A medical team was called to the scene and an ambulance took the passengers to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment. Later, the young man was certified with slight injuries while the woman was certified with grievous injuries.
Police investigations into this incident are still ongoing.
