This morning, at around 0330hrs, the Police were called to assist in a traffic accident in Triq il-Kbira, Attard.
The Police immediately went to the scene and from a preliminary investigation it resulted that a Kia Picanto crashed into an abandoned building. In the vehicle there were two minors aged 16 and 13 years.
A medical team immediately assisted at the scene and both were taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Later, the 16-year-old was certified with slight injuries while the other was certified with grievous injuries.
Police investigations in relation to this incident are still ongoing.
