Police solves a number of thefts

Immediate Police action led to the arrest of a man while he was carrying out a robbery at a shop in St Julian’s.

From investigations carried out, resulted that the man allegedly carried out nine other thefts during the past weeks from various shops, offices and a hotel in Gzira.

The man allegedly stole various items including a considerable amount of cash and electronic equipment, as well as causing various damages.

The 30-year-old Italian national, resident of Birżebbuġa, will be arraigned in Court in the coming days.

Police investigations are ongoing.
