The first accident occurred at around 1600 hrs, in Triq id-Dejma, Tarxien. Preliminary investigations revealed that a collision occurred between a Toyota Vitz driven by a 50-year-old woman from Safi and a Junak motorcycle driven by a 69-year-old man from Zabbar.
The second accident occurred at around 1930 hrs, in Triq Sant’ Anna, Floriana. Preliminary investigations showed that an accident occurred between an Otokar Vectio bus, driven by a 34-year-old Indian man resident in Msida, and an e-kick scooter driven by a 12-year-old boy.
An ambulance took the motorcyclist and the boy to hospital where they were certified to have sustained grievous injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
