Following days of surveillance and investigations on a residence in Spencer Hill, Marsa, in connection with alleged drug trafficking, on Wednesday evening the Police carried out a raid on the residence. A 40-year-old man who resides in the residence was arrested on site, together with another 46-year-old man who resides in Senglea and a 56-year-old woman who resides in Rabat Malta.

During searches carried out at the residence, the Police found substances suspected to be cocaine and heroin, together with various items linked to drug trafficking, around €700 in cash and other valuable items.

At the same time, the Police intercepted a vehicle in Triq Ninu Cremona, Paola, after its driver, a 32-year-old man from Paola, was earlier observed leaving the same Marsa residence. A search of the vehicle yielded around 25 sachets of suspected cocaine, together with a number of used syringes.
