Man suffers burns in Pembroke accident

A 24-year-old man, a resident of San Ġwann, sustained burns in an accident yesterday in the morning in the White rocks area in Pembroke.
 
At around eleven in the morning (1100 hrs), the Police were informed by the health authorities, that a person was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by another man using a private vehicle and is suffering from serious injuries.
 
Initial investigations showed that the 24-year-old man threw fuel to burn cardboard and other plastic items and suffered burns caused by the fire.
 
Magistrate Dr Monica Borg Galea LL.D. appointed an inquiry while Police investigations are ongoing.
