Today, at around 0100 hrs, the Police were informed that their assistance was needed at an establishment in Triq Ġorġ Borġ Olivier, St Julian’s.
Preliminary investigations by the Police found that a 40-year-old American man fell from a height of about one storey in an establishment.
A medical team from Mater Dei Hospital was called to the scene and an ambulance took the victim to hospital for treatment. The man was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Magistrate Dr Monica Borg Galea LL. D was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry, while Police investigations are ongoing.
