A 24-year-old man from Nepal, a resident of St Paul’s Bay, was injured in an accident which occurred at around 2030 hrs in a warehouse in Triq it-Tarġa, Naxxar.
Investigations showed that the man fell from a height of about two storeys while working and sustained injuries.
A medical team was called on site and the victim was then taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Investigations by the Police, as well as those of the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, are ongoing.
