Man grievously injured in Marsascala

Today, at about 1045hrs, the police were informed that their assistance was needed in Nigel Dennis Street, Marsascala.

The Police went immediately on site and from initial investigations it resulted that a man

a 25-year-old man and living in Ghaxaq, sustained injuries after he was trapped between a tow-truck and a wall.

Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team arrived on site and an ambulance took him to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment. He was later certified to have sustained grievous injuries.

Police investigations into this incident are ongoing.
