Man grievously injured in Gozo

Today, at around 0915hrs, the police were informed that assistance was needed at a construction site in Daħlet Pawluzzu, San Lawrenz, Gozo.

The Police went immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a 36-year-old Ghanaian man had sustained injuries while working with a grinder.

The victim was assisted by a medical team and taken to Gozo General Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to have sustained grievous injuries.

Investigations by the Police, together with the Health and Safety Authority are ongoing.
