Early this morning, at around 0415 hrs, the Police were informed that their assistance was needed in Triq Spinola, St Julian’s.
The Police went immediately on site and from preliminary investigations, it resulted that a 25-year-old British man fell from a hotel balcony.
A medical team was called to the scene but unfortunately, he was certified dead on site.
Magistrate Dr Philip Galea Farrugia LL.D was informed about the case and appointed various experts to assist in the inquiry, whilst Police investigations are ongoing.
