This morning, at around 0745hrs, the Police were informed that an accident had occurred in Triq Ta’ Ċenċ, Sannat, Gozo.
From the initial investigations carried out, it appears that a 76-year-old man was doing some work at his residence and was on a ladder when for some reason he fell into an internal courtyard, approximately three storeys high.
A medical team was called on site but unfortunately he was certified dead at the scene.
Magistrate Dr Jean Paul Grech LL.D was informed and appointed an inquiry while Police investigations are still ongoing.
