Earlier:
A one year and four months boy, is in a serious condition after he found himself in difficulty after falling into a pool at a private residence.
Yesterday, at around 1930 hrs, the Police were informed that their assistance is needed in Triq Ġnien Imrik, Xagħra, Gozo.
The Police, together with a medical team from the Gozo General Hospital went immediately on site, where they found the boy unconscious.
An ambulance took him to Gozo General Hospital, and later the boy was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by a helicopter for further medical assistance.
Magistrate Dr Simone Grech LL.D was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.
Police investigations are ongoing.
