A 25-year-old man from Turkey has died after falling a height of about two storeys at a construction site.
The accident occurred at around eight a quarter of this morning 0745 hrs, in Triq Pietru D’ Armenia, Pembroke.
A medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department were called to the scene to assist, but the worker was unfortunately certified dead on site.
Magistrate Joseph Mifsud LL.D was informed about the case and opened an inquiry, while investigations by the Police, together with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority are ongoing.
