This morning, at around 9:30 a.m. (0930hrs), the Police were informed of a traffic accident on Regional Road, Santa Venera.
Police officers immediately went to the scene, and preliminary investigations showed that a collision had occurred between a Toyota IQ driven by a 22-year-old man residing in Valletta and a Pingandayun Ufo motorcycle driven by a 23-year-old man residing in San Ġwann.
A medical team was called to the scene, and an ambulance took the motorcycle rider to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where he was certified as having sustained grevious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
