Early this morning, at around two and a half hours (0230 hrs), the Police were informed that assistance was needed in National Stadium Avenue, Attard.
The Police went immediately on site where it resulted that a 31-year-old Colombian national, a resident of Gzira, who was riding a Voge SR motorcycle, lost control and overturned.
The man was assisted by a medical team and taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified as dead.
The Magistrate was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry while Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
