Three arrested after argument in Gżira

Yesterday evening, at around nine o’clock (2100hrs), the Police were informed that assistance was needed in Triq Sir Charles Cameron, Gżira, after an argument broke out between a number of individuals.

The Police immediately went to the scene, where they found a 30-year-old man with some injuries. Medical assistance was promptly called, and the man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified to have suffered minor injuries.

Three other men were identified as having been involved in the argument and, following a search of the surrounding area, they were found a short while later and arrested.

During the argument, some vehicles sustained damages.

Police investigations into this case are still ongoing.
