Today, at around half past noon (12:30 hrs), the Police were informed that assistance was needed at a garage in Triq Ħal Qormi, Santa Venera.
The Police immediately went to the scene and, from preliminary investigations, it resulted that a 25-year-old Indian national residing in Ħal Lija fell about one storey down a shaft.
A medical team was called to assist at the scene, and an ambulance took him to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where he was certified as having suffered grevious injuries.
Police investigations into this case are still ongoing.
