A 64-year-old man residing in Mosta unfortunately lost his life after falling from a height of approximately four storeys into a shaft.
The incident occurred at around three o’clock in the afternoon (1500hrs) at a private residence in Triq il-Ħarifa, Mosta.
A medical team was called to the scene to assist; however, he was unfortunately certified dead on site.
Magistrate Dr Franco Agius LL.D was informed of the case and has appointed an inquiry, while police investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
