Today, at 0730hrs, the police were informed that assistance was needed in Sqaq Nr. 4, in Triq Frangisk Portelli, Gharb, Gozo.
The Police went immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a 39-year-old man and residing in Mosta, was injured after falling about two storeys from a balcony of a residence.
A medical team was called on site and an ambulance took the victim to Gozo General Hospital for treatment. He was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
