A 50-year-old man residing in Rabat, unfortunately lost his life after falling about two storeys because the truck he was in got a mechanical failure.
The incident happened at around 1315hrs, at Dwejra in the limits of Mġarr.
A medical team and members of the Civil Protection were called on site to assist, but unfortunately, he was certified dead on site.
Magistrate Dr Monica Borg Galea LL.D was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.
Police investigations into this incident are ongoing.
