Intensive Police investigations in connection with a number of thefts and attempted thefts from private residences led to the arrest of a 38-year-old man from Georgia.
From investigations carried out the Police managed to identify the person who was allegedly involved in at least ten cases.
It resulted that the suspect had committed at least 6 thefts in Sliema, Ta’ Xbiex and Msida, as well as 4 attempted thefts also in Sliema, Gzira and Birkirkara.
While Police investigations are ongoing, the suspect is expected to be arraigned in Court in the coming days.
