Man arrested in connection with motorcycle theft

(PR 456/25)

Intensive investigations by the police regarding reports related to the theft of three motorcycles, led to the arrest of a 56-year-old man residing in Cospicua who allegedly committed these thefts.

Last week, the police received reports of three motorcycles being stolen on the same day, where two motorcycles were stolen from Pietá, while another motorcycle was stolen from Zabbar. The motorcycles were found a few days later inside Cospicua, where police investigations also led to the identification of the suspected thief, who was subsequently arrested yesterday.

The man is expected to be arraigned in Court in the coming hours.
