Gozo traffic accident

Two 22-year-old men who live in Naxxar and Mellieħa and a 19-year-old girl from Rabat, Gozo, at around 0300 hrs, were taken to the Gozo General Hospital because they were involved in a traffic accident in Triq ir-Rabat, Xagħra, Gozo.

From initial investigations it appears that they were hit by a Toyota Vitz, which was being driven by a 53-year-old Moroccan man who resides in Żebbuġ, Gozo.

They were assisted by a medical team, taken to hospital by ambulance and the young woman and youth who lives in Mellieħa were certified to be suffering from slight injuries, while the other youth suffered serious injuries.

Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech LL.D was informed and appointed an inquiry while Police investigations are ongoing.
