Today, at around 0145hrs, the Police were informed of a traffic accident in Triq Gorg Borg Olivier, St Julian’s.
The Police went immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a collision had occurred between BYD Seal U DMI driven by 29-year-old man from Pakistan living in Qormi, and a Kymco Skytown 125 motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Colombian man who lives in San Gwann.
A medical team was called on site and an ambulance took the motorcyclist to Mater Dei Hospital. He was later certified to have suffered grievous injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
