Boy in serious condition after falling into swimming pool
A four-year-old boy is in a serious condition after he found himself in difficulty after falling into a private residence pool.
 
Today, at around noon minus one quarter (1145 hrs), the Police were informed that their assistance was needed in Triq il-Port Ruman, Marsaxlokk.
 
The Police, together with a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital went immediately on site, where they found the boy unconscious after being brought out of the water by persons who were in the same residence.
 
An ambulance took him to Mater Dei where he was certified to be in a serious condition.
 
Magistrate Dr Philip Galea Farrugia LL. D was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.
 
Police investigations are ongoing.
