Montenegro Police visit Malta Police Force to explore body-worn cameras

(PR 504/24)

This week, the Malta Police Force had the pleasure of hosting colleagues from the Montenegro Police for a study visit focused on integrating body-worn cameras into their policing practices. The delegation participated in various sessions show casing Malta’s use of this technology in law enforcement.

The visit, part of a broader cooperation initiative, included hands-on demonstrations, discussions on procurement, data protection, legal frameworks, and live streaming capabilities of body-worn cameras. The Montenegro Police were able to observe the rollout of this system within the Malta Police Force, providing valuable insights into operational challenges and solutions.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to sharing expertise and enhancing policing standards internationally.
