Today at around 1500hrs the Police were informed that their assistance
was needed in San Luqa Road in Pieta.
Preliminary investigation showed that a Mercedes GLC that
was being driven by a 46-year-old woman from Siggiewi hit a 22-year-old woman.
An ambulance was called on site to take the victim to Mater
Dei hospital for further treatment. Later she was certified as suffering from
grievous injuries.
Police investigation is still ongoing.
