During a brief ceremony at the Police Headquarters yesterday, 25 officers who had previously served in Disciplined Forces were appointed Reserve Police Constables (RPCs).
The majority of the officers had served as Police Sergeants and Constables with the Malta Police Force, while some are former AFM soldiers, former CSA officers and former CPD officers.
The new RPCs have recently successfully concluded a training course at the Academy for Disciplined Forces, which included basic policing skills needed to provide a professional service to the public and ultimately continue to increase public trust in line with the Malta Police mission and vision.
