Today at around 0730hrs the Police were informed that their assistance was needed in Sqaq Habel Zwejra in Naxxar.
Preliminary investigation showed that a 49-year-old man from Zejtun was injured after he was pinned between two DAF trucks. The driver was injured while he trying to more one of the trucks.
The Civil Protection members and an ambulance were called on site to assist the victim. Later he was escorted to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations is still ongoing.
